Blue Christmas

Immanuel will be offering a Blue Christmas worship this year on the longest day of the year, Wednesday, December 21st at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome!

Christmas isn't always jingle bells and happy caroling for everyone. People find these dark days to be depressing, weary and tiring. Grief can resurface, start again or be just beginning for some. The loss of either a loved one, a relationship, a job, a sense of self-worth and other things make the holiday time so much more than dashing through the snow. So we invite you, as you are, to join us for a Blue Christmas where you can find a safe place to let your sorrow flow, feel your pain and suffering all the while soaking in the love and grace of God - who sent his only Son we we might know him - the one who was, who is and who is yet come.

Whatever you long for this Advent season, whatever you dream of, whatever you hope for and pray for... bring that with you and allow the Spirit to move among you and bring you peace. We will pray, we will have silence, we will sing and pray some more. Quiet, contemplative and peace-filled.

Join us!
